The ongoing controversy surrounding the under-fire Group Managing Director of First City Monument Bank (FCMB), Mr Adam Nuru, has taken another twist as Moyo Thomas, wife of the deceased Tunde Thomas has stated that contrary to viral reports, her two children were indeed fathered by her late husband.
Much pandemonium has rented the air in the wake of recent reports which suggest that Moyo Thomas, while working with the named commercial bank had been involved in an extra-marital affair with her boss (Adam Nuru), an illicit affair which ultimately produced her two children.
As earlier reported by EkoHotBlog, Moyo Thomas had concealed the truth about the paternity of her two children from her husband, Tunde Thomas until she had relocated to the United States of America.
It is also reported that Tunde’s life had taken a downward spiral upon learning about the paternity of his hitherto, two children, an emotional strain which ultimately led to his untimely death about two weeks ago due to conditions relating to heart failure.

Tunde’s death has consequently stirred the hornet’s nest, with many Nigerians calling for a commensurate punishment to Mr Adam Nuru who is said to have implicitly played a role in Tunde’s death.
However, Moyo Thomas, who has been somewhat reticent amid all the drama surrounding her Ex-Husband’s death has finally spoken to clear the air regarding the paternity of her children.
According to Adetunji Iromini, who spoke on behalf of the family: “Tunde is the biological father of the two kids and Moyo never in any way told him he was not the father of her kids. Moyo and Tunde clearly work to ensure the misunderstanding they had did not affect the relationship they respectively have with the two kids”.
“Tunde visited the children in June 2018, where he interacted with the kids unhindered, and this was after his recovery from the stroke he had earlier that year, he was always in touch with the kids even at odd hours at least twice every month from December 2017”.
“The last call from him was on Thanksgiving day on the 26th of November 2020. One will agree that this does not paint the picture of man who had been told he was not the biological father of his children as was maliciously stated in the petition and has being circulating on different social media platforms”.
“It is very sad the way many people (Nigerians) have decided to take the difference between a married couple and misrepresent it into a sensational story. It is unfair to have the pictures of late Tunde’s kids splashed all over the internet”.
