Ekohotblog reports that the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Command has identified the body of a crossdresser who was brutally murdered and dumped along the Katampe-Mabushi Expressway in Abuja.
The victim has been named as Ifeanyi Chukwu-Agah Benedict, a 33-year-old man from Afikpo North Local Government Area in Ebonyi State.
The incident, which occurred on August 8th, had initially sparked confusion as the deceased was first mistaken for a female.
However, following a thorough investigation led by the FCT Police Command, the identity of the deceased was confirmed. Ifeanyi was a resident of Dapé in the Karmo area of Abuja.
The Command’s Public Relations Officer, Josephine Adeh, stated that the victim’s family has been notified and is cooperating with the police to provide necessary information that could assist in the ongoing investigation.
