Fear Grips Afghanistan Minority Group As Taliban Targets Community
- The Hazaras, Afghanistan Minority group are in danger following the Taliban takeover of the country.
- The safety of the minority group is in jeopardy following the group’s control of the country.
EkohotBlog reports that in an interview Abdul Ghafoor, Director of Afghanistan Migrants Advice and Support Organization had with Al Jazeera, monitored by our reporter – revealed that at least 14 Hazaras have been killed after surrendering to the Taliban in Daykundi province.

Ghafoor registered with the platform that “There’s no amnesty… They are going after the journalists, they are going after the activists, after the people who were in the government.”
This is happening despite international community attention focused on Afghanistan with the United States stating that even with US forces withdrawal, safeguarding human rights, protecting women and girl’s rights remains an integral part of America’s foreign policy.
