Federal Poly Offa Declares Three-Day Mourning For Deceased Ex-Students

The Management of the Federal Polytechnic Offa, Kwara State has declared three-day mourning following the death of three of its ex-students on their way to the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) orientation camp.

In its condolence message signed by the Director of Information, Public Relations and Protocol, the school described the loss as ‘irreparable’ and prayed for strength for the families to cope with the deaths.

“With heavy and profound sense of loss, the Governing Council, Management, Staff and Students of the Federal Polytechnic Offa commiserate with the families of three of our ex-students who lost their lives in a ghastly automobile accident along Mokwa road, Niger State on their way to NYSC camp for the batch C stream 2 orientation.

“The Polytechnic condoles the families of the deceased students and prays that God will comfort and grant them the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss. May their gentle souls rest in perfect peace. ”

The three-day mourning starts on Wednesday, December 4 and ends on Friday, December 6.

Three prospective corps members of the school had a fatal accident along Mokwa road in Niger State on 28th, November 2019.
