The Federal Roads Maintenance Agency(FERMA) has urged the Federal Government to provide more funds for road projects.
The Managing Director of the FERMA, Mr Nurudeen Rafindadi made this known in Owerri, Imo State, at the agency’s annual lectures and awards.
He said that the decrease of good roads and increase of bad roads could be connected to inadequate funding.
Rafindadi said that budgetary release to the agency had continued to drop, adding that this gave rise to increase in bad stretches along federal highways.
