FESA Pays Courtesy Visit to HRM Oba Ayodele Kolawole Aliru, Alade Uraka of Poka Land

  • FESA paid a courtesy visit to HRM Oba Ayodele Kolawole Aliru on April 19, 2025.
  • The visit included a belated birthday gift presentation and formal introduction of the association’s executive members.

The Federation of Eredo Students Association (FESA) paid a courtesy visit to His Royal Majesty, Oba Ayodele Kolawole Aliru (Ilufemiloye I), the Alade Uraka of Poka Land, on Friday, April 19, 2025.

Ekohotblog reports that the visit, led by FESA President Comrade Ademola Omobello, served as a formal introduction of the association and its executive members to the revered monarch.

It was also an opportunity to present a special birthday gift in honor of the king’s recently celebrated birthday.

Speaking during the visit, Comrade Omobello expressed gratitude for the warm reception and emphasized the importance of connecting traditional leadership with the youth.

“We came to show our respect to our royal father and to familiarize him with our association’s mission to empower students in Eredo.”

The association used the occasion to share its vision, aims, and objectives with the monarch, receiving his full support and blessings.

“FESA is a symbol of unity and purpose among the students of Eredo,” said Comrade Sunday Oluwasegun, the Public Relations Officer. “We believe working with our royal institutions will strengthen our efforts.”

Oba Aliru, in his response, commended the students for their initiative and passion for community development.

“You are the future leaders of this land, and it pleases me to see young people so organized and purposeful,” the monarch said. “Stay focused, be disciplined, and never forget your roots.”
