FG Reveals Transport Companies, Routes For Tinubu’s 50% Transport Fare Reduction [PHOTO]

Eko Hot Blog reports that the federal government has announced a list of selected transport companies partaking in President Bola Tinubu’s 50% fare reduction for travelers across the country.

According to Bayo Onanuga, special Adviser on information and strategy to President Bola Tinubu, God is Good (GIG) Motors, Chisco Transport, Young Shall Grow Motors, God Bless Ezenwata, and Area Motors are the chosen transport companies for the Federal Government’s 50 percent transport subsidy.

Bayo Onanuga revealed this on Thursday via his Twitter handle, X, sharing the selected routes expected to benefit from this subsidy.

The subsidy will cover routes like Lagos-Kano, Lagos-Enugu, Lagos-Nsukka, Onitsha-Jos, Abuja-Sokoto, and 23 other routes picked by the government.

It would be recalled that President Bola Tinubu had on Thursday declared 50% transport fare reduction for travelers nationwide during this festive season.

Following the directive, the Nigerian Railway Corporation announced free tickets for travelers nationwide.
