Friends, Family, And Well-wishers Gather At Fidau Prayer For Late Risikat Abbas

Friends, family, and well-wishers gathered at the Fidau prayer for Late Risikat Abbas.
Eko Hot Blog reports that at the Lagos State Civil Service Club in Ikeja was filled with friends and family celebrating the life of late Alhaja Risikat Adeola Abbas, fondly known as Mama Nurse, as her Fidau prayer was held on Friday.

The beloved matriarch passed away at the ripe age of 81, leaving behind a legacy of love and devotion.
She was the wife of Chief Tolani Abass, the Mogaji of the Abass family in Epe, and a dedicated, wife, sister, in law, mother, and grandmother.
Despite the heavy rain, the Fidau prayer was well attended by family, friends, and well-wishers who came to pay their respects.
The event featured Quranic recitations, prayers, and eulogies, with notable clerics leading the service.
Tributes were paid by her husband, son, grandchild, and well-wishers, with a vote of thanks by Alhaji Suleimon Olayinka Abbas.
In his tribute, the deceased’s husband, Alhaji Abbas, described her as a kind and understanding wife during their 67-year marriage.
“I will miss her so much. She was lovely, kind, and understanding,” he Head of the Abass family of Epe said.
“We’ve been together for 67 years, and it’s hard to put into words how I feel.”
Similarly, the couple’s grandson remembered Alhaja Abbas’s unconditional love.
“We’ll always remember how she showed us love and care, and how we checked on each other every day,” he said.
Likewise, Madam Kikelomo Ganiyat Adeyemi, junior sister to the late Alhaja Abbas, paid her tribute, saying she was a pillar of support for her during her lifetime.
“My sister was more than a big sister to me. She stood by me and her husband when I got married,” she said.
