Final Year Students Die In Delta Accident

Three final year students of Delta State Polytechnic, Ogwashi-Uku, Aniocha South Local Government Area, have died in an accident after their final examinations.

The accident involved a commercial tricycle and a Lexus Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV).

The deceased, two females and a male who died on the Isselle-Azagba/Ogwashi-Uku Road were allegedly on their way to a ‘graduation party.’

It was learnt they wrote their final papers on Friday and were joined by other friends for the party about 8pm when the accident happened.

Police spokesperson Onome Onovwakpoyeya confirmed the incident that happened to the students of the Department of Mass Communication.
