Eko Hot Blog reports that a fire broke out on Wednesday, at the Dangote Refinery situated in Lagos State, causing concern among stakeholders and the public alike. However, prompt action by the refinery’s management swiftly brought the situation under control.
Anthony Chiejina, the Group’s Chief Branding and Communication Officer, reassured the public in a statement: “We have promptly contained a minor fire incident at our effluent treatment plant (ETP) today, Wednesday, June 26th. The refinery remains operational, and we are pleased to report that no injuries or harm occurred to any of our diligent staff on duty.”
