Fire Destroys Building, Property Worth N8.5m In Kwara
A fire that broke out early on Sunday morning destroyed property valued roughly N8.5 million in Ilorin, Kwara State
Eko Hot Blog reports that Aaseven-flat structure was damaged by the fire, which broke out at about 2.58 in the morning at Olorunsogo neighborhood.

Hassan Adekunle, a spokesman for the Kwara State Fire Service, verified the occurrence and said a power surge was to blame.
“This incident took place at No. 63, Lawyer Laro Street, Olorunshogo area, Ilorin in Ilorin West local government area.
“On getting to the scene, we realised that the whole building had been engulfed by the blazing fire due to the late call by the sympathizer.
“Although, the conflagration was huge, however our firemen were able to demonstrate high level of professionalism and in no time the ravaging inferno was totally extinguished.
