First Aid Foundation To Be Launched In Moradeun Balogun’s Honour

One year after the death of Moradeun Balogun, the purple elephant foundation, an initiative launched to ensure prompt access to first aid treatment is set to be launched to commemorate her death and prevent humanity from ever having to suffer from such gnawing tragedy again.

The launching of the foundation (Moradeun Balogun Purple Elephant Foundation) is slated to take place on Wednesday, December 2nd, 2020 at the FM Multipurpose Hall, Ikeja, Lagos State.

The foundation, which is a brainchild of the deceased’s family and friends, draws inspiration from the holistic deficiency in the area of providing emergency and first aid treatments with the life-saving swiftness that it deserves.

Eko Hot Blog had reported the tragic passing of Moradeun Balogun, who was mugged on her way from work by unknown bandits at Charity bus stop, Gbagada, and was taken to a hospital where denial of first aid treatment ultimately played a contributory role in her passing.

Beyond providing emergency support for victims of stab injuries, accidents, gunshot injuries and other fatal accidents, the foundation is also geared towards facilitating opportunities for communication, quality improvement initiatives and exchange of ideas and experiences in healthcare quality.

The foundation is also expected to provide the platform for partnerships with reputable international organizations, fellowships, fundraisers as well as other social paraphernalia in furtherance of its aim and objectives.
