First Lady, Aisha Buhari Hospitalized: Here Is Why

The wife of Nigeria’s President was rushed to the hospital in Abuja over a slight leg fracture.

EKO HOT BLOG reports that the Nigerian First Lady, Mrs Aisha Buhari was rushed into an Abuja-based hospital at weekend.

According to report credited to Daily Nigerian (an Abuja-based news platform), Mrs Buhari was said to have suffered a leg fracture which landed her at the hospital. The incident reportedly happened at weekend.

Meanwhile, full details of the incident is not made public yet but the news platform exclusively reported that Mrs Buahri “suffered leg fracture”.

The First Lady who was born 17 February 1971 and married to Nigeria’s President, Muhammadu buhari, is a cosmetologist and beauty therapist.

Before the incident, Mrs Buhari was said to be preparing to host a wedding reception. The reception is reported to be that of the daughter of a Nigerian Ambassador to the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Bilkisu Rimi. Rimi is the daughter of Ambassador Mohammed Rimi, Nigeria’s Ambassador to UAE.

The reception was scheduled to hold on Sunday night at the Presidential Villa. No comment had been made by the Office of the First Lady as the time of this report.

History recorded it that the First Lady, Aisha married Buhari on 2 December 1989. Her grandfather was Alhaji Muhammadu Ribadu, Nigeria’s first minister of defence.
