Food Blockade: What Buhari Discussed With Gov. Yahaya Bello

  • Recently, Northern food dealers known as Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria and Amalgamated Union of Foodstuff and Cattle Dealers in Nigeria revealed that food transportation to the South would be stopped for some time.
  • This caused reactions on the social media.
  • Because the North has always been considered to be the food basket of the nation.

Yahaya Bello had a brief meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari at the Senate house in Abuja. According to some reports, he discussed about the welfare of Kogi State to the president.

However, President Muhammadu Buhari has sent a strong message to all Nigerians after his meeting with the Governor of Kogi state, Yahaya Bello.

According to Yahaya Bello, the President revealed that Nigeria is not ready to separate as we would grow stronger together.

He added that he is devoted to ensure that Nigerians and safe, in peace and prosperous,  EKO HOT BLOG gathered.

He therefore concluded by saying that every Nigerian should continue with his or her business while food stuffs are also transported to different parts of the country.
