‘For Maximum Productivity:’ Lagos Trains Staff On Self Awareness In Workplace

Eko Hot Blog reports that Lagos State Office of the State Auditor-General has organised a two-day training programme on “Self Awareness in the Workplace” for the support staff in the State Auditor-General’s Office.

Speaking at the commencement of the programme held at the Secretariat, Alausa, Ikeja, on Tuesday, the Permanent Secretary, Office of the State Auditor-General, Mr. Adewuyi Moshood Adewale, admonished the staff on the need to know their responsibility in discharging their official duties.

According to him, there is a need for them to embrace the right thing by developing entrepreneurial skills, stressing that this will enable them to perform maximumly and increase their productivity.

“In this Office, everyone is very important. We are all working towards the same goal which is to ensure that, Audit Service is delivered accordingly,” said Adewuyi.

The Permanent Secretary emphasised that the entire staff must work together and complement each other towards achieving a common goal of productivity, stressing that the support staff must always see themselves as part of the Office and not as strangers.

Adewale, therefore, charged the participants to listen attentively and feel free to ask questions from the facilitators. He added that the training materials will also be given to them for private reading towards the effective discharge of their duties.
