Forbes’ 30 Under 30 List Puts 7 Nigerians On Showpiece

Talk about Nigerians shining their lights on the international stage, and you have Forbes giving them recognition on its annual list of 30 under 30.

The Forbes 30 under 30 list features a host of African innovators and inspirations, including 7 Nigerians.

Asisat Oshoala is given a shout-out alongside celebrities like Tems and Ayra Starr in Forbes’ compilations.
EKO HOT BLOG reports that Forbes, an American business magazine, has released its 30 Under 30 list for 2023, featuring 30 self-made young African innovators.
The list includes seven Nigerians who have significantly impacted their respective fields.

Topping the list of Nigerian innovators is award-winning singer, Temilade Openiyi, known professionally as Tems, who has garnered international recognition for her music. Also on the list is Oyinkansola Sarah Aderibigbe, popularly known as Ayra Starr, a rising star in the Nigerian music industry.
Reality TV star Abiri Oluwabusayo, known as Khloe, has also been named on the list. In addition, Asisat Oshoala, a renowned football player, has also been recognized for her outstanding achievements on the field.
In the tech industry, the Ndu Okeke twins, Hansel and Germain, who founded the tech company, Flying Doctors, have also made the Forbes 30 Under 30 list. Business innovator, Blessing Joel Abeng, completes the list of Nigerians on the Forbes list.
Aside from the Nigerians, the list features 11 South Africans, two Rwandans, Tanzanians, and Ghanaians each, and one each from Botswana, Namibia, Cameroon, Lesotho, Mauritius, and Kenya. In addition, the list recognizes young African innovators who have made significant contributions in their respective fields.
