Forbes Explains Why Kanye West Is Not America’s Richest Black Man

  • It was everywhere on the web that Kanye West is now the richest Black Man in the world
  • According to reports, his estimated net worth is $6.6 billion.
  • Forbes has rejected the assertions.

Earlier reports claimed that Kanye West has emerged as the richest Black Man in American history , Forbes has condemned and dismissed such reports.

The reports by Bloomberg which claims that the celebrity is now the richest Black Man in US history was termed as false information as Forbes dismissed the claims saying that Kanye West’s worth of $7 billion is based on magical thinking around sales that does not exist.

They claimed that Robert Smith, the CEO of Vista Equity is currently the richest Black Man in the US with an estimated net worth of $6 billion while Aliko Dangote, a Nigeria Business Man is the richest black man in the world with an estimated net worth of $11.8 billion.

Meanwhile, same thing happened in April 2020 when Forbes reported the celebrity’s net worth to be $1.3 billion after an analysis it conducted but Kanye West maintained it was much higher claiming that it was $3.3 billion, saying no one in Forbes knows how to count.

Forbes Magazine gave a breakdown of Kanye West’s Net worth which are; Yeezy($1.5 billion), cash and other assets ($160 million), music catalogue ($90million), Skims ($64 million) and Yeezy X Gap ($0),  EKO HOT BLOG  gathered.
