Permanent Secretary to the Ministry of Health in Kebbi State, Hajiya Halima Boyi has disclosed that about hundred foreign doctors are slated to hold a free medical outreach in the state.
Speaking at a press conference held yesterday , she said that the outreach is part of the state government ’s commitment towards promoting healthcare services delivery.
She said that 100 foreign Medical Doctors under Mose’s Leak Medical Teams would perform different surgeries while another 100 medical supporting staff from U. I ’s teaching hospital as well as FMC Birnin Kebbi and Sahyaya Hospital are also expected to be part of the team.
Boyi who explained further that this is the sixth free outreach in the state added that over thousands of patients with the different illnesses would be treated for free. She said that the team is going to spend three weeks while free food and other logistics will be provided for the patients.
