Former AD National Chairman Dies

A former National Chairman of the Alliance for Democracy (AD), Senator Mojisoluwa Akinfenwa has died at the age of 89.

The former Commissioner for Education in Oyo state died in his Ibadan home on Thursday after a brief illness.

According to a former National Publicity Secretary of AD, Hon Olapade Fakunle, Akinfenwa only complained of malaria symptoms and his doctor gave him a medication and he was advised to rest.

However, the former Senator, who in 1999 represented Osun East constituency, died while he was observing his bed rest.
