The former chairman of Mushin Local Government Area of Lagos State, Hon. Willie Akinlude, has been pronounced dead.
His demise was announced on Saturday in a statement by Chairman of Mushin, Hon. Emmanuel Bamigboye, who expressed his heartfelt condolences to the family of the former chairman.
He said: “On behalf of myself, the executive, legislative, management and the good people of Mushin, I express my heartfelt condolences to the family of late Willie Akinlude. He was a Third Republic and a chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Lagos State. Mushin local government, who died on Saturday, 6 March, 2021.

“Also, I sympathize with the good people of Mushin and Lagos at large on the demise of a great political icon, the former Chairman of Mushin LG.
May the almighty God give his family, friends and associates, the fortitude to bear the loss and may the soul of late Willie Akinlude rest in peace.” he added.
Willie Akinlude was a former Chairman of Mushin local government area in the Third Republic and a chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Lagos State.
