Former Minister wants Government to explore skilled sector to reduce unemployment

Former Minister of Agriculture and Water Resources, Sayyadi Ruma, has called on the federal government to explore the skilled sector to provide employment for the youth.

He made the charge during the signing of a memorandum of understanding in Abuja with a foreign organisation

The partnership seeks to explore the informal sector by providing a centre for entrepreneurship education, accredited vocational skills, training and opportunities for young people who are often un-served and under-served.

This partnership will cover training in areas such as : Mentoring and capacity building for entrepreneurs, improving social impact measurement, value chain development for SME businesses, Agriculture for all Initiative, Entrepreneurship expo, and a lot of other programmes
