Former Northern Senator, Nuhu Aliyu, Dead
- A statement by Alhaji Ahmed Ibrahim Matane, the Secretary to Niger State Government, said the state has lost a man of great value
Nuhu Aliyu a former Senator for Niger North, is dead.
Senator Aliyu died on Wednesday in Kaduna State after a brief illness.
While acknowledging the news, the Niger State government described Aliyu as a great man of courage dedicated to Nigeria.
A statement by Alhaji Ahmed Ibrahim Matane, the Secretary to Niger State Government, said the state has lost a man of great value, adding that his advice would be greatly missed.
The statement read in part, “The patriotic tendencies and excellent handling of legislative duties concerning the welfare of people and the nation demonstrated by Senator Nuhu Aliyu are worthy of emulation.
