Former Supreme Court Justice, Bola Babalakin Is Dead

• A former Justice of Nigeria’s Supreme Court Bola Babalakin is dead.

EKO HOT BLOG reports that a former Justice of the Supreme Court of Nigeria, Justice Tijani Bolarinwa Babalakin is Dead.

This online media platform gathered that Babalakin died on Saturday at the age of 94.

Babalakin’s death was announced in a statement made by Ishaq Kunle Sanni on behalf of the family.

The statement read in part, “Ina lillah waina ilaehi rojiun.

“We announce the death of a great Nigerian and pious Muslim and retired Justice of the Supreme Court Justice Tijani Bolarinwa Babalakin who died this morning in Lagos at the ripe age of 94.

“Baba was an active member of the Muslim Association Of Nigeria, Ansarudeen society and former president of the Muslim Ummah of South West MUSWEN.

“He is survived by many children and grand children including Dr Abdurauf Bolanle Babalakin (SAN) and a celebrated atchitect in lagos Tayo Babalakin (FNIA FNIQS).

“Baba would in sha Allah be buried today 4th of December in Gbongan his home town.

Babalakin is a native of Gbongan in the present Ayedaade Local Government Area in Osun state.

The deceased was survived many children and grandchildren among whom are; Dr Bolanle Babalakin (SAN), Chairman, Bi-Courtney Aviation Services Ltd and Architect Tayo Babalakin, among others.
