EKO HOT BLOG reports that four Super Falcons players have been named in the International Federation of Football History and Statistics (IFFHS) Women’s CAF Team of the Year 2021.
Nigeria have contributed a player in each position on the pitch with goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie, center-back Osinachi Ohale, midfielder Ngozi Okobi and striker Asisat Oshoala selected in the ceremonial Best XI by the body reputed for their football statistics and records.

Onome Ebi (Henan), Rita Chikwelu (Madrid CFF) and Rasheedat Ajibade (Atlético Madrid) are among the seven substitutes in the team coached by Zambia’s Bruce Nwape.
Asisat Oshoala is the current African Women’s Footballer of the Year. She equalled compatriot Perpetua Nkwocha’s remarkable record of winning the accolade four times.
Oshoala shone won the UEFA Women’s Champions League with Barcelona Femina, Primera División and Copa de la Reina – in the 2020-2021 season.
Goalkeeper Nnadozie has been in great firm since her move to Paris FC, with six clean sheets achieved so far this season.
Centreback Ohale even as a defender has scored four goals in 28 appearances in the Primera División Femenina in 2021 including a memorable strike against Barcelona back in June.
Four-time African champion Okobi who this year got married to her heartthrob is a key player for Eskilstuna United and has played over 100 appearances combined in the Sweish Damallsvenskan for two different clubs.
