  • The Federal Government has announced the phase four lockdown to further manage the spread of COVID’19.
  • The deadly viral disease that broke out last year threatened the lives of many while others lost their lives to the pandemic.

It’s important that we know that the phase four lockdown isn’t a total lockdown but a partial one.

The government has a responsibility to give necessary measures to make sure we don’t have a pandemic on our hands once more.

Here are four important things you should know about the phase four lockdown:

(1.) There will be restrictions on bar, event centres, and night clubs to prevent gathering of people on these confined spaces.

(2.) There will be curfew between 12am and 4am effective from today.

(3.) Religious gatherings and weddings will be reduced to not more than 50 participants.

(4.) Conferences will be suspended while international travels will only be allowed in cases where they are very important.

It must be noted that all usual COVID’19 preventive guidelines will remain in place during this period.

COVID’19 is real, it’s important that we all adhere to these guidelines to prevent another outbreak of the virus.
