EKO HOT BLOG reports that Founder of Adoration Ministry, Rev. Fr. Ejike Mbaka, yesterday opened the Ebonyi Police Monitoring and Surveillance Team (CMST) station, renovated by the Unit Commander, Fabian Iloabanafor.
Mbaka, who was received by the Police Commissioner (CP) Faleye Olaleye, at the force headquarters, blessed the CP and commended his dedication to service.
He then proceeded to the Monitoring and Surveillance Team (CMST), Liberation Estate, Abakaliki, where he blessed the building.
Faleye hailed Iloabanafor for his efforts in seeing that the command is secured and protected.
Iloabanafor explained that the (CMST) Unit was created to assist the command monitor and curtail excesses of uniform personnel and tackling of other crimes. He praised the people for supporting him to renovate the command.
He said: “When we came here, this place was bushy, and hoodlums were attacking policemen because there was no fence. In fact, nothing was on ground.
So, the only option was to approach some individuals living here and outside the estate to assist us execute this project. Today, to the glory of God, the building is complete. With this base, I am expecting more manpower, more vehicles and other logistics to secure the state.
