The 25-year-old Real Madrid forward was not included in the squad for the upcoming matches against Israel and Italy.

Mbappe had been excluded from France’s October squad for two Nations League games as a precautionary step, following his recent return from injury. He had been expected to make his return to the squad this month.
“I’ve had discussions with him, it is a decision that I took for this block of matches only,” Deschamps said at a news conference on Thursday. “Kylian wanted to come.”
