EKO HOT BLOG reports that Paris Saint-Germain forward Kylian Mbappe is set to take on the captaincy of the France national team following the retirement of Raphael Varane from international duty.
Varane, who currently plays for Manchester United, announced his decision to retire from international football via his Instagram account on Thursday. The announcement came after the 2022 FIFA World Cup, in which France lost to Argentina in the final via penalties.
