French Open Finalist Knocked Out In First Round At Wimbledon
He might be a worthy two-time finalist at the last two editions of the French Open but Dominic Thiem didn’t get any such recognition at Wimbledon.
The tennis star was knocked out of Wimbledon in the first round today, gping down 6-7 (4/7), 7-6 (7/1), 6-3, 6-0 to veteran American, Sam Querrey.
The 25-year-old Austrian fifth seed has not been comfortable on the grass court, with his best showing being reaching the last 16 in 2017.
Querrey, who made to the semi-final at Wimbledon two years ago, will face Andrey Rublev of Russia or Cristian Garin of Chile.
