Meanwhile, Nigerian evangelist and filmmaker Mike Bamiloye has spoken out about the dangers of criticizing men of God. In a post on his official X (formerly Twitter) account, Bamiloye warned that disrespecting spiritual leaders could lead to severe consequences, drawing from biblical stories to make his point.
He referenced the story of Michal, the daughter of King Saul, from 2 Samuel 6:16 and 6:23, where she despised King David for dancing before God. Despite David’s decision not to curse her, Michal was punished by God, remaining childless until her death.
Bamiloye cautioned, “Some people have carried unnecessary curses they ought not to have carried in the first place. Why? Because they insulted genuine men of God who carry fires meant for the devil.”
