Fridge Gas Explosion Leaves Technician Severely Injured in Ikorodu
Ekohotblog reports that in a tragic incident at Emunren, Ikorodu, a technician identified as Mr. Adeniyi narrowly escaped death after a refrigerator he was repairing exploded, leaving him with severe injuries.
According to Mr. Adeniyi, the accident occurred while he was fixing a gas line inside a freezer.
“I was almost done with the work when the freezer suddenly exploded,” he recounted.
“When I opened my eyes, it felt like a dream to find myself helpless on a hospital bed, covered in injuries.”

Mr. Adeniyi shared that he had a premonition about the task before heading out to the client’s house.
“My mind was telling me not to go, but I didn’t want to disappoint my client. I never imagined that decision would land me in the hospital.”
Now recovering from his injuries, Mr. Adeniyi advises others to listen to their instincts.
“If I had followed my gut feeling, I wouldn’t be lying here helpless on this sick bed,” he said, reflecting on the incident.
