FRSC Deploys 590 Personnel For Delta LG Election

According to Mr. Uchechukwu Wihioka, Sector Commander of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) in Delta, 590 personnel have been mobilized for the state’s local government elections on March 6.

In an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Wednesday, Wihioka said that officers would be deployed to various polling units and roads to ensure that the election went off without a hitch.

He urged politicians to warn their followers against inciting riots, threatening that such actions would be punished.

Wihioka also encouraged young people to be patriotic and contribute their fair share to the country’s growth by participating in elections.

“Voting is a responsibility and a right that everyone in the country, including the youth, should accept.

“When you vote, you are signalling to your representatives that you expect them to lead well while they are in office.
