The FRSC spokesperson in Lagos, Elizabeth Jayeola, announced this on Channels Television’s The Morning Brief on Thursday.
EKO HOT BLOG reports that Jayeola, who serves as the Sector Public Education Officer for the FRSC Lagos State Command, explained that the app will serve both citizens and road safety officials.
He stated, “There is the mobile app that is going to be launched in September 2024. It has functions for the citizens and for the FRSC.
“We are going to bring this to the mobile app, you can now check for licenses, number plates and all that,” said Jayeola.
Addressing road safety concerns, she pointed out that speeding, distracted driving, and aggressive driving are the primary causes of accidents in Lagos.
“In Lagos speeding, distracted driving and aggressive driving are the major causes of road accidents,” she stated.
Jayeola called on citizens to collaborate with road safety officials to make Nigerian roads safer for everyone.
