In a statement released on Tuesday, KWAM1’s spokesperson, Kunle Rasheed, dismissed rumors of trouble in the couple’s marriage, stating that they were fabricated by “haters”. He described the incident at the party as “inconsequential” and called on people to understand that KWAM1 and Emmanuella love each other dearly.
“Our attention has been drawn yet again to another round of unofficial and unreliable piece of information that the Mayegun of Yorubaland, K1 de Ultimate is not in love with his darling wife hence the rejection of her kiss at his surprise birthday gig held at Radisson Blu over the weekend,” Rasheed said in the statement posted on Facebook.
“These rumour mongers have turned what ordinary was inconsequential to something they feel in their delusion, they should celebrate and spread for a gain we do not understand. It is rather unfortunate that these rumour spinners who thrive only in negativity should be able to see through their hate that love indeed has found a place to stay permanently in the couple’s hearts.”
The statement also addressed those who were waiting to hear bad news about the couple, stating that they were in “perpetual agony” because they believed the union would not work. Rasheed urged them to stop spreading negativity and focus on the fact that KWAM1 and Emmanuella were enjoying the bliss of their union.
KWAM1 and Emmanuella got married in 2018, and their marriage has been the subject of scrutiny in recent times. However, this latest statement from the singer’s camp seems to put those rumors to rest.
