At least eight nations have secured their spots in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Morocco.

The qualified teams include Congo, Senegal, Egypt, Angola, Cameroon, Algeria, Burkina Faso, and host nation Morocco.

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) confirmed the latest qualifiers through a series of posts on their X account on Tuesday.

Congo, Senegal, Egypt, and Angola are the most recent teams to clinch qualification, each securing crucial wins in their matches.

Congo triumphed 2-0 over Tanzania at the Benjamin Mkapa National Stadium, while Angola edged out Niger Republic 1-0. Egypt secured a 1-0 victory against Mauritania, and Senegal defeated Malawi 1-0.
