FULL LIST: Governor Okpebholo Announces 15 Fresh Appointments in Edo

Governor Monday Okpebholo of Edo State has approved the nominations for membership of the Edo State Oil and Gas Producing Areas Development Commission (EDSOPADEC) and the Edo State Independent Electoral Commission (EDSIEC).

EKO HOT BLOG reliably gathered that the governor confirmed  the nominations are effective immediately.

The secretary to the state government, Musa Ikhilor also confirmed the nominations via a statement released on Tuesday.

The newly appointed members of EDSOPADEC are:

(i) Francis Osaretin Osabuohien/ Chairman

Members:

(ii) Felix Osazee

(iii) Linda Aliyu Omonzele

(iv) Princess (Mrs.) Ikuoyemwen Ewuare-Aimiuwu

(v) Edosomwan Kelvin Iredia

(vi) Stanley Odidi

(vii) Tony Osazuwa

Moreso,  Governor Okpebholo also approved the nomination of members for the Edo State Independent Electoral Commission (EDSIEC):

Chairman: Jonathan Aifuobhokhan

Members:

(ii) Asein Ojo Victor

(iii) Ighomo Egharevba Thomas

(iv) Imafidon Hope Osarodion

(v) Dr. Suleman Ovuehor Ikhuoria

(vi) Hon. Anthony Aikpoghome

(vii) Umoru Habib Frank

(viii) Aremiyau Aligamhe Momoh

According to the governor, the appointments aim to strengthen the governance structures and ensure efficient service delivery within the state’s oil and gas sectors and electoral processes.
