Full List of Donald Trump’s Major Appointments Ahead of Inauguration

US President-elect Donald Trump is moving quickly to form his administration, appointing key allies to vital roles as he works to fast-track his policy agenda before his inauguration.

Within days of his election victory, Trump has begun filling critical positions, choosing well-known loyalists and signaling his intention to bypass Senate confirmations for some appointments.

Among the notable selections, Trump has named Tom Homan, a staunch advocate for strict immigration enforcement, as his “border czar.” Homan, the former acting director of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), is known for his tough stance on illegal immigration, aligning with Trump’s campaign promises to crack down on illegal immigration.

Trump has also chosen New York Congresswoman Elise Stefanik, a vocal supporter of Israel and close ally, as his nominee for U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations. If confirmed by the Senate, Stefanik will face the challenges posed by ongoing conflicts in Gaza and Lebanon, and is expected to play a key role in representing U.S. interests and supporting allies at the U.N.

Additionally, Stephen Miller, a former senior advisor with strong anti-immigration views, is expected to return to the administration as Deputy Chief of Staff. His reappointment signals the continuation of Trump’s strict immigration policies, with a focus on border security and deportations.

In another move, Trump named his co-campaign manager, Susie Wiles, as his new Chief of Staff, continuing to build his inner circle of trusted allies.

Trump’s selection process has attracted significant attention, with reports indicating that he has urged Senate Republicans to support recess appointments to avoid the traditional confirmation process.

With the inauguration scheduled for January 20, Trump is laying the groundwork for the swift implementation of his agenda.
