Funeral Service: Traditional Ruler Cautions Goska Community Against Vengeance
A renewed appeal has gone to Goska community in Kaninkon Chiefdom and the entire people of Jema’a Local Government not to resort to vengeance but allow God’s anger to take its toll on the perpetrators of recent attack in the area.
His Royal Highness, Chief of Kaninkon (the Tum Nikyob) Mal. Tanko Tete made the appeal during an interdenominational Funeral Service for Five Victims of Monday’s attack on Goska community held on tuesday in Goska, Kafanchan kaduna State-Nigeria

Represented by the district head of Kaninkon Mr. Williams Gimba, the traditional leader described the attack as most unfortunate and cautioned the people against any act of reprisal
Mal. Tako Tete urged his people to accept the incident in good faith and be consoled that the souls of the innocent victims were resting with the Lord.
Chairman of Jema’a LG Mr. Peter Danjuma Averik represented by the Council’s secretary Mr. Amos Samaila admonished people in the area to continue to remain law abiding, and not to take laws into their hands in the interest of peace and development.
Earlier in his Sermon, Senior Pastor-ECWA Church Ambam, Reverend Yakubu Dubangari advised Christians not to live a careless life but conduct themselves in ways pleasing to God for divine intervention.
The message with a theme “hope for believers” Reverend Dubangari admonished that life without Christ was useless and that those who
refused to accept Christ would have no place in God’s kingdom when they are gone.
He called on Christians to reward evil with good and live peacefully with one another irrespective of their religious or tribal affiliations.
It would be recall that gun men suspected to be Fulani herdsmen laid ambush and killed five persons in Goska community of Jema’a Local Government area on Monday evening while returning from their farms.
