Funke Akindele Opens Up On Broken Marriage

Ekohotblog reports that Nollywood actress, Funke Akindele Bello has opened up on the circumstances trailing her broken marriage with her ex husband.
The multiple award-winning actress got married to Kehinde Almaroof Oloyede aka “Kenny Doo” on May 26, 2012 but the union ended about a year after the wedding, to the dismay of well wishers.

In a recent interview with Chude Jideonwo, the actress revealed that the reason she got married to her first husband was because of the pressure she was facing from people on getting married and having kids.
She disclosed that after the incident she was heartbroken but her mother advised her to face her job so she could get distracted.
As a coping mechanism, the 44-year-old revealed that she began to take jobs from as far as Enugu in the Eastern part of Nigeria so as to get away from her trouble while focusing on what she loves doing.
Although she expressed that it was frustrating at the time but she was able to stay strong and overcome her troubles.
In an interesting twist of fate, Funke Akindele got married to Nigerian Rapper JJC Skillz in May 2016 and her marriage has been blessed with a set of twins and step children.
