Poster: Ganduje Speaks On Contesting In 2027 With Uzodinma
Former Kano State Governor and current APC National Chairman, Abdullahi Ganduje, has addressed the circulation of a 2027 presidential campaign poster featuring himself and Imo State Governor Hope Uzodinma.
Ganduje dismissed the poster as the work of mischief-makers, possibly collaborating with elements of the Kwankwasiyya movement, aiming to sow discord between him and President Bola Tinubu.

EKO HOT BLOG reports that the poster, which carries the slogan “For Nigerians, prosperity and human capital development,” suggests that Ganduje and Uzodinma would run on the APC platform in the 2027 election. Ganduje refuted this, labeling the poster as false and malicious.
Ganduje who spoke through his Chief Press Secretary, Edwin Olofu on the poster in a statement on Sunday in Abuja, described the development as “entirely false and a malicious piece of fake news.”

The statement reads, “This is to inform the general public that the posters currently circulating on social media, claiming that the APC National Chairman, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, is contesting for the presidency in 2027 with Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodimma, as his running mate, is entirely false and a malicious piece of fake news.
“The All Progressives Congress APC wishes to categorically state that this is the work of mischief-makers, likely in collaboration with certain elements within the Kwankwassiyya movement, who are determined to create disaffection between Dr. Ganduje and His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
