However, Neville now believes that Newcastle will secure a spot in the Champions League, having previously predicted they would miss out on a top-four spot. Speaking on his Sky Sports podcast, Neville said that Newcastle’s recent run of form, including victories over Manchester United, West Ham, and Brentford, has been “brilliant performance.”

Neville watched Newcastle closely in their victory over Manchester United, and he thinks they will finish in the top-four due to their confidence.

Regarding Manchester United, Neville said that they were poor against Newcastle but added that the team typically responds and bounces back. Neville thinks that Erik ten Hag’s side will finish in the Champions League places, despite Manchester United currently being in fourth place.

Neville also spoke about Tottenham, who are just three points behind Newcastle and Manchester United in fifth place, saying that they were fortunate to win against Brighton. Nonetheless, Tottenham still has a chance to finish in the top-four.

Aston Villa, Liverpool, Brighton, Brentford, and West Ham remain in the mix for a Champions League spot. Still, Neville believes the current top-four teams will secure their place in next season’s competition.
