Gbadewolu of Araromi has honoured Ibeju Lekki LCDA chairman with chieftaincy title.

Eko Hot Blog reports that Abdullahi Sesan Olowa, the Chairman of Ibeju Lekki Local Council Development Area (LCDA), has been conferred with the prestigious chieftaincy titles of Aṣoju Ọba ilu Araromi and Ilutimoye Kingdom.

The titles were bestowed upon him by His Royal Majesty, Oba Olayemi Lukman Arowolo Adebambo, the Gbadewolu of Araromi Kingdom during the latter’s birthday celebration which also featured the kingdom’s Ojude Oba festival.

The event, which attracted dignitaries from various parts of the country, was marked by traditional rites, cultural displays, and an outpouring of accolades for Hon. Olowa.

In his speech, Oba Adebambo expressed his deep appreciation for the chairman’s relentless efforts and unwavering dedication to the development of Araromi and its environs.

“Hon. Olowa has consistently demonstrated an extraordinary commitment to the progress and well-being of our community,” said Oba Adebambo.

“He has never once grown weary of his duties, continually striving to do more for our people.

“The only fitting way to honor such dedication and service is by conferring upon him these esteemed titles, which he truly deserves.”

The newly minted chief, Olowa, responded with heartfelt gratitude, pledging to continue his service with even greater zeal.

“This honor is a testament to our shared vision for the development of Ibeju Lekki and Araromi Kingdom,” he remarked.

The Chieftaincy titles, Aṣoju Ọba ilu Araromi and Ilutimoye Kingdom, signify Hon. Olowa’s elevated role as a representative and advocate for the people of Araromi.
