German Cup: Lewandoski Strikes Twice As Bayern Cruise To Quarter-Final

Robert Lewandowski scored his 34th and 35th goals of the season as Bayern Munich beat Hoffenheim 4-3 to reach the German Cup quarter-finals.

The Poland striker nodded in his first just before half-time before scoring in the second half to make it 4-1.

Bayern’s Jerome Boateng and Hoffenheim’s Benjamin Hubner had both scored early own goals before Thomas Muller put Bayern 2-1 up.

Munas Dabbur’s late double set up a tense finale but Bayern held on.

Lewandowski’s 35 goals have come in just 29 games in an incredible season for the Poland striker, who has now scored in each of Bayern’s last four games.
