EKO HOT BLOG reports that the ouster of the Black Stars of Ghana from the ongoing AFCON in Cameroon, has sparked a social media war, as Nigerian football fans diss Ghana for being knocked out.

Moments after it was confirmed that the Black Stars were going to miss out on the knock out stages, Nigeria fans went online to shade the Ghanaians, an action that must have been necessitated by the beef war started by one of Ghana’s most successful artist, Shatta Wale, last year.

Ghanaian musician, Shatta Wale, last December, threw shades at Nigerian artistes after he sold out the biggest stadium in Ghana.

In what appears to be a victory of sort for Nigerians over Ghana, many Nigerian fans went online to tease the Ghanaians, stylishly asking Shatta Wale if he will blame Nigeria for Ghana’s ouster.

Here are what some of the fans said on both Instagram and Twitter, as gathered by EKO HOT BLOG. Enjoy.

On Twitter..

@Princecharles tweeted: Sebi now that Ghana are out, shatta will come and blame Nigeria again?

@Sylvester_Chekwube tweeted: Ghana are our brothers but Shatta wants to mess it all up…anyway, i still got love for Ghana though.

@EmmanuelJide tweeted: Oh my Ghana! Now, Ghana must really go…Sorry Sir Shatta.

On Instagram:

@Seunbobo posted: Revenge is sweet oh! What will be the excuse this time? that Nigerians stopped Ghana? ehn Mr. Shatta?

@Olamidebobo posted: We have Ghana must go bags still for sell in Nigeria oh.. since we are big brothers to Ghana, if they don’t have money, let them come and collect free bag.

Minor Comoros pulled the biggest upset, knocking out Ghana from the ongoing African Cup of Nations in Cameroon after winning 3-2.

Ghana needed to win the match to have a chance of going through as one of the best losers, but the Islanders pulled one of the biggest shock of the tournament to beat 10-man Ghana, by 3 goals to 2.

Andre Ayew was sent off by the referee on 25 minutes after a rough challenge on a player from Comoros.
