The General Manager of Lagos State Physical Planning Permit Authority, Tpl. Funmi Osifuye has charged District Officers of the Authority in the State to update their knowledge with the new rules and regulations for effective service delivery.
Osifuye stressed that they should spend their free time to familiarise themselves with the new law, compare and contrast it with the old one as professionals in order to discharge their duties accordingly.

Speaking at the Agency stakeholders’ meeting on Monday, Osifuye urged the Officers to be careful, thorough and transparent in discharging their duties.
He added that socio-economic and environmental impacts must be taken into consideration for special applications such as hotels, eateries, and places of worship amongst others, especially those situated along major corridors in the State.
The General Manager emphasised that all District Officers must be conversant with happenings in their areas of jurisdiction as monitoring and enforcement will now be vigorously pursued by the Authority.
