Ekohotblog reports that Comrade Giwa Moshood Olasupo (GMO) on Saturday declared for the state chairmanship position of the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN).
Releasing his manifestos in front of over a thousand youths from different local governments within the state, GMO stressed the need to ensure that the youths are united and gainfully employed.
“Part of my priority would be to ensure that I facilitate employment, vocational skills and empowerment for the teaming Youths of Lagos through relentless lobbying and effective collaboration with both private and government sectors.
“Sports, agriculture and other viable skills are tools we will maximise to ensure that the youths are gainfully employed.
He also promised to drive the implementations and total compliance to the Lagos Youths Policy across all sectors responsible to it, as well as collaborate and promote the vision THEMES of the state government and harness it’s inherent benefits towards a secured future of Lagos youths.
He urged all to join him in the great course by being worthy ambassadors of GMO ahead of the April 2020 elections of the council.
