Some of us don’t see any reason why we need to get a medical checkup because we don’t feel sick and there’s no health problem. We feel healthy and don’t want to waste money on a medical checkup. The truth is, some sicknesses or infections don’t show any symptoms in our bodies.

Going for a medical checkup every year would help you know your numbers, your health status, and the overall system wellbeing.

Sometimes people have hypertension, hepatitis, or diabetes and are not even aware of it. It is through annual screenings that you detect some of these things, like hepatitis, and others that may not showcase so many symptoms.

There are different stages. Hepatitis A, hepatitis B, and hepatitis C. If you don’t deal with it, it can be there for 10 years dormant.

No symptoms and no signs for 15 to 20 years, then causes liver cancer and you’ll be wondering where cancer came from. It was there 20 years ago, but because you never checked, you didn’t know.
