EKO HOT BLOG reports that Nasir El-Rufai, Governor of Kaduna State has told Bola Tinubu; the National Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), that he believes God himself would choose next leader of Nigeria
The Governor stated that Nigerian is in so much chaos, and problems under this present administration, but the citizens must stand their ground, and make a choice for a new leader to take up the banner in the coming elections, and lead the country out of the present challenges.
According to reports, the two spoke in Kaduna, after Tinubu visited the state on a condolence visit, following the attack of bandits, on a Kaduna-bound train.
El-Rufai affirmed that he is fully aware of Tinubu’s 2023 presidential ambitious, but he has confidence that God alone would be the one to pick the next leader in 2023.
The Governor also stated that Tinubu has shown great leadership qualities, by visiting the state, and it was an act that would not be forgotten by residents and citizens of Kaduna.
He went further to address the present administration, confirming that Buhari has failed to visit the state despite all the series of attacks on the Kaduna people in recent times.
El’ Rufai’s words were;
“Both the Government and also the people of Kaduna would not forget this gesture, we are greatful to you, for the effort and sacrifice you have put in, to ensure unity and peace in the country” .
“We are aware of your presidential ambitions, and we look forward to future engagements, so we make that aspiring a success”.
