Wife of estranged Senior Pastor of the Commonwealth of Zion Assembly (COZA), Biodun Fatoyinbo, ‘Modele has said called on God to direct her husband on his future.
Speaking in spite of the backlash that trailed her simple declaration that her husband is not a rapist during church service on Sunday, ‘Modele spoke again on Monday about the issue.
Speaking at the beginning Monday at opening event of the church’s annual special programme tagged “Seven Days of Glory”, Mrs Fatoyinbo addresed the issue in a prayer session.
“God will make us rich. His right hand sustains my destiny. God has made Modele and Biodun rich. He looks down to make you rich,” she began.
Further, she said: “The work of my hand is expanding no matter the situation, from ocean to ocean. The grace to complete your assignment, the grace to know what to do, God will give our senior pastor,” she prayed.
Her husband, who had announced on Sunday that this year’s edition of the annual event would be devoid of other programmes beyond prayer sessions, was not in church on Monday as expected. He announced his decision to step down and embark on a leave of absence earlier yesterday morning.
