GoFundMe Account Created To Help Baba Ijesha Pay Legal Fees

A GoFundMe account has been created for actor Baba Ijesha who has been charged with sexual assault.

The GoFundMe account was created by friends and fans of the actor in a bid to cover his legal fees.

EkoHotBlog had earlier reported that the actor who was arrested in April has been charged with indecent treatment of a child, defilement of a child, sexual assault by penetration, attempted sexual assault by penetration and sexual assault, which contravene sections 135, 137, 261, 202, 262, and 263 of the Lagos State Criminal Law, 2015.

EkoHotBlog gathered that Oladele Matti who started the fundraiser tagged, ‘Help Olanrewaju Omiyinka with Legal Costs’ resides in Dublin, Ireland.

Giving reasons for starting the GoFundMe account, Oladele Matti said, “Hi, my name is Oladele Matti and I am fundraising for Olanrewaju Omiyinka aka Baba Ijesha Legal Costs. A gesture of support/Goodwill/Solidarity to assist with the legal costs of a complicated and lengthy process that will likely offer the best chance of successfully obtaining fairness and justice.

He continued, Olanrewaju Omiyinka, aka Baba Ijesha, is a popular actor/comedian. he was charged to court on the 24th of June, 2021 after spending over two months in police custody without bail.
